    First, the feeding system transports the batteries to the anaerobic shredding system. This system, equipped with a two-shaft shredder and a dedicated shredder for charged batteries, ensures the safety of the entire process. The batteries are shredded into smaller pieces using anaerobic shredding, while the nitrogen atmosphere effectively prevents combustion or explosion. Also, the fire protection system, under real-time monitoring, further enhances the safety of the entire processing. Then, the shredded batteries enter the low-temperature drying system, which operates in a nitrogen atmosphere to control the oxygen content, preventing the electrolyte inside the battery from burning. The drying process volatilizes the electrolyte, which is then treated in the tail-gas treatment system in case of any pollution caused.  Next, the dried materials will be generally separated into heavy or light materials after the first time shredding. The heavy materials mainly consist of the battery casing and tabs, while the light materials include electrode materials and black powder. The light materials then enter the high-temperature pyrolysis system, where the PVDF coating on the positive electrode is removed by pyrolysis, and the fine-grained separator and the pyrolysis-derived plastic are carbonized. This step not only enhances the purity of the recycled materials but also effectively reduces the impurity content in the black powder. After multiple sorting systems by shredding, crushing, and screening, the pyrolysis materials are further refined. Black powder, aluminum, and copper particles are effectively separated and collected, then go to the following processing systems.  The entire recycling process is conducted under a nitrogen atmosphere and in an oxygen-poor environment, effectively reducing the risk of fire and enhancing safety. Meanwhile, the multi-stage black powder collection method yields lower impurity levels and a higher recycling value for the resulting black powder. In addition, the system is also equipped with an exhaust gas treatment system and a fire protection system to handle the exhaust gas generated throughout the sorting and recycling process, ensuring environmental protection. The fire protection system monitors each system in real time to ensure the safety of the entire recycling process.
